Purchasing through The Collectors from its Suppliers
Shopping with The Collectors and its Suppliers is designed to be easy, informative, interactive and fun. Please take the time to read these Terms and Conditions about our service so you can be fully informed about your rights and how to do business with us.
Products will be supplied to you by The Collectors on behalf of our Suppliers. Products can be supplied directly by The Collectors, which will be shipped from our contracted Auckland warehouse facility. Alternatively, we also use our overseas suppliers to ship directly. After placing an order, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your order. Once your payment has been confirmed you will receive an email, which contains a link to your tax invoice. It is important you retain a record of your order. This form will have essential information, which will allow you to track the status of your order or make a query regarding your order. If you require another copy of this form please login to your customer account at http://www.thecollectors.co.nz/account/login. If you order more than once within any 24-hour period, you may receive more than one delivery from us for these items.
The Collectors is promoting products on behalf of its Suppliers. The Collectors does not warrant or guarantee the claims made by our Suppliers about the performance and specifications of their products. The Collectors takes due care when reviewing Advertiser products for promotion but does not accept liability for any faults in the products supplied by our Suppliers. Please read and carefully follow any and all instructions received with the product you have purchased. The Collectors shall not be responsible for any loss suffered, howsoever arising, from use of any product purchased via The Collectors. The Collectors’s maximum liability, in respect of any claim arising in relation to any product purchased from it, shall be equivalent to the purchase price paid for the product together with any handling, delivery and/or administration charges paid in respect of the product.

All prices and delivery charges on our site are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include New Zealand GST. We reserve the right to alter prices and delivery charges for any reason at any time. If this should happen after you have placed an order, we will contact you prior to processing it. Product pricing is set according to the instructions of our Suppliers.
The Collectors will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of its obligations under its contract with you that is caused by an event outside its reasonable control.

Any such dispute or claim shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
There's no need to let us know you're returning something, just fill in the returns note inside your parcel and pop it back to us.
We'll refund the price you paid for your item, including sale items back to your original payment method. In order to return your item and receive a refund under the 30 day money back guarantee each item must be in its original condition: which includes tags and any packaging (including original boxes), accessories, instruction manuals, free gifts with purchase etc.
The items must be securely and safely packaged – use the item’s packaging as long as the packaging is in good condition for the item to be returned in. If the packaging is not suitable, place the packaged item in an appropriate shipping box or bag.
All goods will be inspected on return. We try hard to accept all returns, and in the unlikely event that an item is returned to us in an unsuitable condition, we reserve the right to send it back to you.
If you wish to exchange one product for another, just send us the item back in it’s original condition along with the returns form detailing what you’re wanting to exchange and we’ll get the replacement sent out to you.
We're not responsible for any items that are returned to us by mistake.
The goods are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse, so make sure they're packed up properly and can't get damaged on the way.
You must have completed the returns slip and selected the reason you are returning the item. If you do not include a returns form or if it is incomplete, the processing of your return may be delayed. We reserve the right to issue a credit note to you if the returns form is not included or is incomplete.
Please note credit card refunds may take up to 20 business days to complete, depending on the reason for the return and when it was returned to The Collectors. This can vary greatly between card issuers, and unfortunately we are unable to influence this.
